IT System Engineer
Job description
Duties
-
Managing Informtion Technology System and reporting to management; ensuring the administration of servers and related network facilitate for effective control
-
Ensuring the protection of company's network and email security
-
Managing and maintaining the company's email account and other data interface
-
Maintaining a sound configuration and installation of equipment in a microsoft environment
-
Frequent maintenance ofthe equipment/hardware's, software's and operating systems as well as provision of requisite anti-virus packages
-
Ensuring a cost effective system administration
-
Guaranteeing effective computer networking for the company and ensuring proper connectivity of employee's network to the requisite electronic connections
-
Ensuring that all relevant packages and software's in the system are updated
-
Supervising the functionalities of all electronic connections
-
Providing technical assistance and support by responding to the enquiries of authorized system users, vendors and service providers
-
Carrying out other duties that may be required by management
-
Demonstrate ability to work in a fast paced environment
-
Requirements
-
Minimum of Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer science/engineering, Information Technology from a recognized university or higher institutional years of experience
-
Two to three years experience in a similar role in an organsations
-
Minimum of MSCA certification and or CCNA certification
-
Someone with an experience in the Maritime and logistics industry will be considered specially
